150 Iowa reservists coming home Saturday

DES MOINES, Iowa — About 150 Marine reservists will return to Des Moines after serving seven months in Iraq.
The Marines are members of the Company E, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division of Fort Des Moines. A military official said they are scheduled to return to Des Moines on Saturday after spending seven months in Anbar province, Iraq.
The reservists are scheduled to arrive at the Des Moines International Airport on a charter flight about 9:30 a.m. Saturday. They will be taken by bus to Fort Des Moines.
They returned to the U.S. last week and have been at a base in California undergoing processing to be released from active duty.
